What We Really Think
Our Mickey Thompson Radial Claws performed flawlessly in Moab, where we ran them aired down to between 8 and 10psi. So far
we've tested them on rocks and in mud and deep sand, and the Claws
have managed to impress us every single time. On the road,
they are among the quietest mud tires we've ever tested, and we drove them the entire 2200+ mile trip to Moab and back.
We are currently running 33x12.50R15's mounted on 15x8 M/T Classic hot-forged wheels
on our '97 Wrangler. As you can see, the two come together to make a great looking package.
Would we like to see Mickey Thompson change anything about these tires? Though they don't seem to need it, we'd feel
better if our tires had 3-ply sidewalls. Even with only two plies, these tires held up to a tremendous beating in Moab
and came away without a scratch.
