"Insanity" - A 1979 CJ7
"Insanity" has:
350 small block Chevy at 382 hp straight from the dyno.
T-18 tranny (soon to be a 2-1/2 ton military air shifted tranny)
Diffs are Dana 60 in back, Ford 9" ends to fit the cut and re-splined 9" axles.
(Wanted to keep it 5-bolt)
Front end is Dana 60 (just put in) - all have 4:56 gears
It also has a Center Force dual friction clutch with a Lakewood bell housing,
Smitty built bumper, KC lights, and 44 Ground Hawgs.
He's planning to intall some 5-ton military's in her this summer.
"All I do with it is the beach, shows, cruising at Niagara Falls, Canada on Sunday
nights, and sand dunes at the beach."

Brian Masencup's 1979 CJ5
Brian's CJ5 consists of a built 304 with in-chassis headers and dual
Flowmasters, a Jeep wide-ratio T-18 4-speed, a Dana 20 t-case, Dana 44
front with a Dana Trac-Lock and a Dana 44 rear with a Detroit Locker.
He has a custom spring-over lift with IHC Scout springs in the front
(that's what the axles came out of), and reversed shackles. He is runnng 32"
Rancho RS9000 shocks with in-dash controls, 35x16x15 Boggers mounted on 15x12 Eaton wheels,
a custom roll-cage with RCI seats and 5-point harnesses, factory Jeep 20 gallon tank,
Warn 8000lb winch, and KC Lights front and underneath.

Eric Edward's 1977 CJ7
Eric swapped out his worn-out 304 for a rebuilt Buick 350, TH400, and model 20.
He installed dana 44's front and rear, with 3.73's. The rear has a Tru-Trac. The 44's
sit under Wrangler springs, with a front shackle-conversion, and he's riding on 33x12.50
BFG's.

Jeff Morton's 1980 CJ7
Jeff's CJ7 is powered by a 304 V8 with a T-176 tranny and 300 transfer case.
The axles are dana 30 front/AMC 20 rear, with 3.73 gears & Lockright lockers.
The motor has an Edelbrock aluminum intake, 600 Carter carb, Cyclone headers with
Dynomax dual exhaust, MSD ignition, and a K&N filter to top it off.
"I purchased the Jeep in '93 and did a complete frame-off restoration in 95. I
junked the steel tub for a 4WD Hardware fiberglass tub and fenders, kept the steel hood
and windshield frame, then sprayed it metallic gold. I bolted in a 4" Rancho lift to
fit the 35" Groundhawgs. For safety I added shoulder harness seatbelts, Summit bucket
seats, and a six-point roll cage. The yellow lab in the picture is Ozzy; he rarely misses

Nick Morris's 1985 CJ7
Nick's CJ has a Chevy V-8, 700R4 tranny with a .7 overdrive, AtlasII 4:1 transfer
case, Dana 44 front and rear with 4.56 gears, ARB lockers front and rear, 6-1/2" spring
over, axles have been widened 3", full-cage roll bar and Downey racing seats with 4-point
harness, Warn hubs, 3" custom exaust with Flowmaster, converted four-piston AC unit to
onboard air, 35" Thornbirds on 15X10 Alcoas, and a Rhino-lined tub and new paint.


Chris Call's 1979 CJ5 Renegade
Chris' CJ has a stock AMC 304 V8, 4-inch Tuff Country Suspension system with
Rancho 5000 shocks, 33x12.50 BFG Mud Terrains on 10-inch Prime wheels, Warn hubs,
T18 transmission (6.32-1 1st), Novak adapter to a Dana model 20 transfer case,
Six States premium C.V. rear drive shaft, Driveline Services front drive shaft,
Dana 30 front end with Lockrite Locker, Precision 4.10:1 ring and pinion, New Dana
Spicer axles, AMC model 20 rear end with Lockrite Locker, Precision 4.10:1 ring
and pinion, Moser 1-piece hardened alloy axles, both front and rear ends now have
Go Rhino truss kits, full cage, new Bestop bucket seats, and a Ramsey Rep8000 winch.

Bob & Nancy Scheetz's 1969 CJ5
The Scheetz's CJ has a 2-1/2" lift, Warn 9,000lb. winch, Dana 44 rear
and Dana 30 front with Warn locking hubs. Power is delivered by Chevy 350
4-bolt main to T-14A turning 31x11.50 15's on 8" chrome spoke wheels.
Future projects: Turbo 350 Transmission, KC Daylighters for light bar, and
disc brakes for the front end.


Robert Jenssen's 1961 FC150/CJ5
Robert's 1961 FC150 with a CJ5 body has a heavely modified Chevy 305 T.P.I
from 1987 Camaro IROC Z, and a TH350 with lock up and a Dana 18 transfercase. The axles
are Ford 9-inch with ARB Airlocker from Currie. It rolls on 35 Super Swamper Boggers.

Glen & Vera Mercer's 1974 CJ-5
Glen & Vera's CJ has the stock 304 V-8 and T-15 3-speed, open differentials,
32-inch BFG AT's on 15X10 chrome wheels, and an older Rancho 2- or 2.5-inch lift.
They have also added a custom rack built by Don Campbell of Yuba City.
Future plans include a 4-speed tranny and maybe a locker. Later on will come
a 4-inch spring lift. The next modification will likely be a Jacobs electronic ignition.
