Button's 2000 TJ

"Hi, I just recently purchased my Jeep, she is a 2000 4.0L I-6 engine, hard top, AM/FM CD player, front bug guard, chrome license frames, Wrangler tires, I plan on adding lots more chrome soon, like that chrome look! I haven't been on any trail rides yet but lots of off road camping in the rugged mountains of California, I'm right near the Rubicon which is one of the best known 4 by 4 trails in the west! I'm going to spruce Yellow Jacket up before taking her near that! My name is Button, I'm a girl and love my Jeep!!"

Tirya's TJ Sahara, "Max", has the 5-speed manual & 4.0L, 31x10.5 BFG ATs, and a 2" TeraFlex lift on the horizon.

"My TJ rolled over 75,000 miles on its third birthday, so I think it's safe to say that I love my Jeep! I've wheeled at Iron Mountain (WI), The Badlands (IN), and Silver Lake (MI), before moving to Texas in 2002. I'm looking forward to doing some trails with Jeeps of North Texas, and to finally get the TeraFlex lift I've been talking about for the past two years. Of course, then I'm going to have to look at tires, and lockers, and winches, and..."

Cyndi's 1976 CJ5 - "ELMO"

ELMO originally came from an insurance auction after it was rolled. The only damage it had was a bent windshield frame and rollbar. Both were replaced and it was painted AMC firecracker red. She convinced her husband to sell his 25th anniversiary edition camaro in order to purchase ELMO. Since then, they have added a new BesTop Supertop, 4" SuperLift Superride suspension kit, 2" heavy duty shackel extensions, Warrior Products steering brace, custom built front bumper, 2 KC Hilites, Moser axle kit in rear, 31x10.50 Trailblazers, 40 channel Uniden CB radio. ELMO is powered by a strong 304 V-8 with blackjack headers and Purlpe Hornie bolt-on mufflers.

Future Mods include: Winch, making strong 304 much stronger, 35x12.50 GoodYear MTR's, back bumper w/ tire carrier, utility racks

ELMO belongs to the Blue Ridge Jeep Club and is also a member of the Roanoke Valley Mopar Club.

"I love being in the mountains where ELMO can really cut loose and show me what he can do! We've gone on several trail rides and are always ready for more."

Chrissy's Yellow 2000 TJ Wrangler Sport 'Tonka' Chrissy's Yellow 2000 TJ Wrangler Sport 'Tonka' Chrissy's Yellow 2000 TJ Wrangler Sport 'Tonka' Chrissy's Yellow 2000 TJ Wrangler Sport 'Tonka'

Chrissy's Yellow 2000 TJ Wrangler Sport "Tonka"

"I just recently moved to Clearwater, Fl and will actually be going on my first trail ride in this area on Sunday. I don't have a trailer or another truck to pull it with so, I have not made any trips outside of Florida...I've already gone through a set of 35" Mickey Thompson Baja Claws and am on 36" Super Swampers now and the Jeep only has 18,000 miles on it. I am a full time college student (paying my own way) and the cost makes it tough to go on far off trips. So, my Jeep has only seen "little" action. Florida is basically flat! Had lots of fun in the everglades though."

Chrissy's TJ has a 4" Pro Comp Stage 2 suspension lift and 3" Body lift, Stage 2 Chip & Exhaust for more HP, 4:56 gears front and rear...again, more HP, 36" Super Swamper TSL/SX on Eagle 589 15x8 wheels, and a 35" Spare.

"More to come when my tax return check gets here! I also chose the model with the sound bar, full steel doors, soft top, never used A/C, locking trunk and side steps. I'd love to have a light bar too but, I hardly fit in parking garages as it is now!"

"How it got the name Tonka...I sent pictures of it back to family and friends in my home state of NJ and the general response was a huge sigh followed by...I knew you really liked playing with Tonka trucks when you were little but, this is a bit much don't you think. So, my response of course was no and the name Tonka has stuck with it ever since."

She has a Dana 35 rear and a full-on Detroit locker in the rear. Her tires are Super Swamper SX 35/15.50/15 with Eagle Alloy Series 639 wheels. She has accessorized inside with a Pioneer stereo system, 4-5.25 Kicker component speakers, a 200 watt Pioneer amp, and a Tuffy Security Console. Outside she has 4-PIAA 520 Series Lights, and 2-PIAA 1400 Series Fog Lights.

Jennifer's 1999 TJ Sport

MODS: I just added the 33x12.50 Goodyear MT/R tires on Eagle Alloy rims to my 1999 TJ Sport. We're gonna try to scuff 'em up on the rocks this weekend. I also installed (my tools, my labor) the Teraflex 3T lift with Rancho RS5000 shocks, adding the Teraflex adjustable front lower control arms and swaybar discos. I was exhausted after that so I let the mechanic install a Rubican Express front track bar and Rancho steering stabilizer. I've got a pair of KC lights, heavy duty tow hooks, and a 48" hi-lift jack mounted on the front bumper. I had to remove those wussie bumperettes! I keep a tree strap, chains, tools, shovel, etc. in the back (and I've used them all!). I also had a tailgate mounted trail/cargo rack that has since been removed - what a waste of money!!!!!!

FUTURE MODS: I'm installing a light bar this weekend, bidding on a TOMKEN rear bumper/swing-out tire carrier system (wish me luck!), and will definitely need some rocker protection/step bars - at only 5'2" I have a hard time climbing in now. Santa is bringing me a CB radio too!

DREAM MODS: Winch, ARB Lockers, Hard top/full doors, Sport Cage, I could go on, but when would it end?
